To downgrade to 2.4.8 , when uninstalling ver 3.x from applications, are you suppose to uninstall all of the supporting files in the Library/preferences also? The instructions are not specific as to how or which files are supposed to be uninstalled before downloading/installing 2.4.8?

I submitted a ticket on this, but it doesn't seem to be in the system so hoping someone that has downgraded from 3.x to 2.4.8 can clarify these instruction. Thanks.

    Hi,

Does TuneUp now works with Itunes 12 (which is no more Beta version by the way)?
Because since the update, it's no more working at my place, which is a little bit disappointing.
TuneUp keep going "syncing with the library"...
    Thanks

I submitted a ticket for the issues with Yosemite, and iTunes 12. The response was that they are working on it. An update on the site acknowledging that these are no longer Beta, and it is being looked at, would be helpful to those affected.

This is highly disappointing, they have also closed the comments thread on the only page advising this to avoid showing how disgruntled customers are.

At no point during the initial purchasing process did it advise that is was not compatible with Yosemite and seeing as I only purchased this product 5 days ago it is, its rather unfair that they are taking peoples money for a product that does not work!

DO NOT purchase if you have installed the latest version of iTunes on OSX, even though it is not in beta any longer, Tune up does not work with iTunes 12, regardless of whether you've installed Yosemite (also doesn't work with Yosemite). Customer support pretty lousy too . TuneUp appear to be reluctant to state this anywhere obvious.

On Nov. 12th they updated my ticket to say a fix would be ready the following week. There hasn't been anything yet, but I am hoping soon.
An update to the site re. these issues would be a good idea. Especially for those purchasing for the first time.

Has there been a fix for this yet? I haven;t updated to iTunes12 knowing there's the issue. I hope that TuneUp isn't just going to let us die here.

They replied to me that official release hasn't been been signed yet, but they have made the fix.
    It should be available soon.
I'll update here when it comes out, in case those who post here don't get a notification.

    Thanks

tuneup (from app store v2.4.8) doesn't work with yosemite 10.10.1 as i just found out... late to the game. however, i downloaded v2.5 from the website, as a trial. it worked fine and cleaned a limited number of files. i'm hoping for the new update to find its way to the app store.

I just installed v2.5 also. It wiped out all my Chrome settings, bookmarks, etc. and still won't import album art.

argh. Updated to 2.5 because it wasn't working with iTunes 12.x. Then installed the 'special' version if iTunes to get around the 64-bit issue (Win7 Enterprise). Now it launches and the window doesn't appear correctly and it doesn't even find my music.

    Amazing.

If you guys are really the original debelopers who bought the company, I am disappointed you are not compatible with Yosemite and iTunes 12.

If you are convinced it will never work properly due to Apple's changes, you won't be the first company put out of business by Apple.

But please stop saying 10.10 and iTunes 12 are beta.

I just don't know why companies like yours just can't tell the truth. Let us know why you are so late to the game, what you are doing to fix things (i.e. hired more programmers, cancelled all vacations, working 24/7 to find a solution, etc.) I mean due you even have a beta out to your testers yet? Or are you still in alpha?

If it isn't going to work ever, fold up the tent and close the company. Otherwise, your users deserve a detailed explanation of why you dropped the ball on the compatibility.

Thank heaven for the 'old' version. V.3.00 was a nightmare and never seemed to do anything and not only that took ages to do nothing too.

Is anyone responding is this still a live application environment? Trying to remove duplicates under MAC latest version does it work?

TuneUp Media is long since out of business. Have no idea why this site persists, but I assure you will not find any support from this company. The doors are closed, the lights are out.
