The following are some helpful tips regarding the use of the Cover Art feature:
- Cover Art only looks for songs where the cover art is completely missing... it does not display any results in the list where there is already artwork saved in the library and audio files. Cover Art adds artwork where it is missing - it does not replace any existing cover art.
- Cover Art will perform much better on a "clean" collection, so we strongly suggest that you use our Clean utility and fix all of the song, artist, and album information before using Cover Art.
- TuneUp employs clever algorithms to find the best matches for a particular album, but we aren't always spot on. This is why we offer 4 different choices. Sometimes they will all basically be the same image, but they will be different sizes and/or resolutions. Sometimes they will be entirely different images, and in these cases, we leave it up to you to decide which image you think is correct.
