My music is on a networked storage drive and TuneUp is running extremely slow. Can I do anything to speed the process up?

In order to clean your files, TuneUp must take an acoustic fingerprint to send to a reference database. To create the acoustic fingerprint, TuneUp decompresses the file to its original state.  

Mapping your network drive can make this sometimes slow process a little bit quicker. This can be done in Windows Explorer by clicking on Tools --> Map Network Drive or by finding the drive in My Network Places, right-clicking on the drive icon and selecting Map Network Drive.
