TuneUp can clean the file formats supported by iTunes that have a metadata substructure (ID3 tag) such as MP3 and M4A. We can't clean MIDI files, WAV files, or iTunes protected files (M4P) which come from the iTunes store (which we make the assumption already have clean data).
