TuneUp has a feature called the "metadata selector" tool which allows you to pick and choose which fields you want TuneUp to save. To use this tool:

1.) Drag songs into TuneUp to be cleaned.  Once TuneUp locates the matches for your music, click on the three dots located just to the right of the album name. This will show you a drop down menu with the following checkboxes:

-Track Name

-Album

-Track Artist

-Album Artist

-Track Number

-Track Count

-Composer

-Genre

-Year

-Cover Art

-Disk Number

-Disk Count

2.) Unchecking any of these boxes will force that particular metadata to be ignored when you press the save button. If you want to apply one of these checkboxes to all songs cleaned by TuneUp on a global level, you can do so within the preferences window of TuneUp.
