TuneUp Mobile will "Listen" to the surrounding environment, whether it be a car, a bar, a restaurant or even an elevator. First, the app uses the microphone on your phone to capture the audio. Next, it analyzes the audio information, quickly searches our database, and then tells you what song is playing.

Using TuneUp Mobile to Identify a Song

1) Just click the big red "Listen" button, which is always visible near the bottom of the screen.

2) The app will "listen" to the music for a few seconds, and then analyze the track to find a match. This process typically takes between 4 and 10 seconds.

3) ...and Blammo! Our app will tell you what song is playing, along with other goodies, such as an iTunes link and song preview, location information, lyrics, and the ability to share on Facebook and Twitter.
